Tigard Chamber Diversity Statement
We listen and engage with our members and our diverse communities, seeking to learn and grow. Through inclusion, we unleash the strength and power of our collective communities. Diverse and inclusive communities have a positive impact in all the actions we take and help us build stronger businesses, relationships, and communities representative of everyone. We are actively looking for ways to listen, learn, and build more inclusive,e diverse programs and ways to work with those businesses and groups that value diversity that are a part of our local, regional, and state community.

Our Diversity and Community Engagement is guided by the following objectives:

Treating people with respect and dignity, regardless of their race, culture, heritage, belief system, or socio-economic status.

Making judgments based on equity and merit.

Creating a safe and supportive environment where differences are valued, respected, and celebrated.
Committees
Diversity and Community Engagement Committee (DCE)
The Diversity and Community Engagement Committee (DCE) made up of Chamber Members serves as a welcoming committee for our Chamber. They host Quarterly events, booth at local community events, and help assist Chamber Staff.
Committee meetings are held online the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 9am to 10am. Please email Ainsley if you would like to attend.
